Our hometeacher has a beautiful strawberry patch that he is too elderly to use anymore and so he lets us pick from it. Most of the stawberries aren't bigger than a penny but the flavor is just dreamy.
I just used the recipe on the pectin box. I tried a cooked jam recipe last year but the freezer jam tastes so much more fresh. I'm actually more of a jelly person but I do love strawberry jam.
The jam hadn't set up yet but I couldn't wait. Store bought white bread, creamy Jif and strawberry jam. Perfection.
